Malika Grayson, Ph.D.

Dr. Malika Grayson is the founder of STEMinist Empowered LLC– an organization focused on the empowerment of Women of Color who pursue graduate degrees.. and they help by reviewing personal statements and by giving mentorship. Currently, Dr. Grayson is a Computer Systems Architect at Northrop Grumman where she is a Program Manager. Over the past few years, she has worked in systems engineering, software development, as well as R&D portfolio management and strategy. Malika is also a Fortune 100 global speaker and bestselling author who has given dozens of workshops and keynotes. Her best-selling book "Hooded: A Black Girl's Guide to the PhD" has been featured in a number of publications and books. Her keynotes and workshops are based on her experiences both in academia and industry… and they focus on topics such as : Networking for Mentoring, Canceling Imposter Syndrome, and Diversity, Inclusion and Representation In STEM.
