Dr. Evingerlean Hudson is affectionately known as Dr. Eve. Dr. Eve is a native of Charlotte, North Carolina, and a first-generation college graduate who earned a Ph.D. at the age of 28. She worked in postsecondary education for a while before she founded Evingerlean Worldwide which helps first-generation college students and graduates thrive through personal transformation and entrepreneurial development. She is an empowerment speaker, an author, and she leads a podcast called The First-Gen Lounge which has tens of thousands of downloads and has reached more than 85 countries. Dr. Eve has degrees and alumni association memberships at Shaw University and The University of Southern Mississippi.
