Dr. Cherise Bernard
Dr. Cherise Bernard attended Spelman College where she completed her bachelor’s degree in chemistry. She then attended Rutgers University for her Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Pharmacology and her mini-MBA certificate in BioPharma Innovation. Dr. Cherise helps underrepresented professionals find their purpose and connects them to educational and career resources in the STEM, creative and business fields. She is a former scientist-turned-student whisperer at Spotify, and she oversees the internship programs for all the undergraduate business majors, MBA students, and PhD Researchers in the U.S., Canada and South America. Dr. Cherise also leads Spotify’s global Employee Resource Group, called BLK, for Spotify’s Black and African-American employees to build community, programs, and to assist company leaders with Diversity & Inclusion policy-setting.
